About the Job
Paradigm is seeking a Production Operator for our client, a leader in the audiovisual industry. As a Production Operator, you will work as part of a team to produce quality electronic equipment within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Type: Contract to hire (Shift: Monday – Thursday 3:15PM - 1:45AM PST)
Location: Tigard, OR | Onsite

As a Production Operator you will:
- Fabricate or assemble electronic equipment according to written work instructions
- Delivers materials to point of consumption in response to Kanban signals
- Flexes to multiple work areas daily based on established patterns
- Accurately performs inventory transactions
- Actively participates in daily in Tier 1 daily management system (DMS) meetings
- Contributes to continuous improvement projects
- Keeps work area well organized and clean
- Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor
Requirements
Our Skills and Experience Wish List includes:
- 0 – 1 years of related work experience
- Training in and experience with Lean manufacturing principles is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with computers and Windows based applications
- Ability to adjust work pace in response to daily production data
- Possesses excellent verbal and written skills in English
- Must be able to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and diffuse challenging situations using acceptable and appropriate methods
- Able to multi-task and be flexible in a dynamic work environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- May be required to alternate schedules to meet production goals
- Attendance is a critical function of this position
