The Bradenton facility manufactures acoustical ceiling grid systems by utilizing roll formers, flying shears, conveyor systems, punches/dies, and mechanical presses.

2nd shift: 2:30pm-12:30am – Monday-Thursday, OT as needed Friday-Sunday
Compensation: $16.00-$17.00
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
+ Follow standardized work processes and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
+ Effectively carry out assigned tasks throughout the shift.
+ Inspect products to ensure quality and customer specifications throughout the shift.
+ Safely operate a press and roll former
+ Notify Lead if individual notices any issues with equipment on the production line.
+ Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace at end of shift.
+ Correctly report production in the SAP system.
+ Keep track of scrap and downtime during the shift and submit to Shift Supervisor at end of each shift.
+ Assembles & staple packing boxes.
+ During plant downtime this position assists with plant housekeeping, maintenance, and warehouse duties.
+ Performs other duties requested by a shift supervisor and Site Management.
Required Qualifications
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
+ 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
+ High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
+ Ability to read policies & procedure manuals.
+ Ability to safely operate/use hand and power tools.
+ Ability to use measuring instruments (calipers, thickness gauge, dial indicator, etc.)
+ Attention to detail
+ Multi-task & be flexible with assignments.
+ Must have general computer skills abilities in order to complete and/or update reports, orders, etc.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Products a plus (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
+ Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts and work weekends when necessary.
