About the Job
Position Role:
• Assemble machinery from blueprints, sketches, or description of parts; to be assembled using basic hand tools and small power tools, both electric and pneumatic.
• Maintain safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Experience Requirements Preference:
• Ability to assemble machinery from blueprints, sketches, or description of parts
• Experience build machinery, motors, transmissions
• Small business or shop experience
• Basic machining skills – experience running Lathe, mill, band saw, welding
• Basic machine assembly skills - drill/tap, layout, basic hand tools and small power tools.
• Maintain safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Responsibilities include:
• Experience in identifying mechanical components; and to perform required mechanical and final machine assembly for schedule requirements
• Familiar with manufacturing processes, machine shop practices, and assembly methods
• Familiar with drilling, tapping, layouts of holes, and other basic assembly functions
• Ability to read and understand engineering documents (blueprints, drawings, schematics, BOM, and manufacturing process instructions)
• Ability to analyze component construction, measuring, identifying materials and documenting formal designs.
• Must maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Possesses a positive “can-do” attitude, works effectively, demonstrates persistence and moves consistently towards goals, having a solid work ethic that results in consistent accomplishment, and dependability
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent English written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools (both electric and pneumatic), and precision tools.
• Pneumatic and basic electrical knowledge
• Work entails reaching, pulling, standing most of the shift, stooping, and must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent

Work Hours
• 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday with possible overtime including weekends
