Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Manage: Oversee day-to-day operations of the production floor, including resource scheduling, allocation, and production planning.
- Production Optimization: Implement and monitor production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of diverse high-quality gummy products by optimizing processes and workflows.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze production metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance productivity and performance.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, implementing measures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Development: Train, coach, and mentor production staff, fostering skill development and maximizing their potential.
- Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles, particularly in the food industry.
- Bilingual Proficiency: Essential for effective communication within the team.
- Attention to Detail: Critical for managing product switches and ensuring precision in ingredient and order schedules.
- Deadline Management: Ability to meet production deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a production management or lead role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in optimizing production processes for efficiency and quality.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Language: Proficient in both English and Spanish.
- Certification: CGMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Competitive salary range of $80,000-$90,000/year with profit-sharing opportunities.
- Work schedule: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, with some Fridays.
