Our Team Members are dedicated to producing the highest quality vehicles for funeral homes worldwide. We manufacture our vehicles using Cadillac chassis, we start by deconstructing and tearing down a Cadillac before reconstructing it to our client's specifications. Throughout the process we are continuously checking each vehicle to ensure they meet our quality standards.

Production Manager Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safety-first attitude, follow all company safety requirements, and contribute to the ongoing creation of a proactive safety culture.
- Implement and maintain processes to improve Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
- Mentor, guide, and facilitate team leaders in their attainment of daily, weekly, and monthly production standards and pace.
- Manage the daily activities and staff required to manufacture Federal Eagle products.
- Understand and drive accountability for key performance metrics on a daily cadence.
- Develop team members by actively managing and ensuring ongoing training and cross-training opportunities according to a structured plan.
- Use root cause problem solving to resolve customer and internal defects.
- Conduct formal performance appraisals for hourly team members.
- Maintain and monitor hourly attendance records.
- Approve, and correct where necessary, hourly Team Member time records through Dayforce system.
- Participate in the selection process by interviewing job candidates.
- Administer corrective disciplinary action; work with Human Resources to resolve team-member complaints through impartial investigation, counseling, or corrective actions.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Production Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 - 4 years of manufacturing management or supervision experience.
- Experience leading a team of 20 or more production team members.
- Strong decision making and analytical skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Self-directed, motivated, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced , dynamic production environment.
- Demonstrated track record of driving improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
- Proven experience in training and development
- Background in lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and Outlook. Experience with payroll systems and an MRP/ERP system are a plus.
