PRODUCTION MANAGER Steel Fabrication - Gpac

We are currently working with a structural steel fabricating company in SW Indianapolis that is looking to fill the role of Production Manager who would lead, manage, and report daily production and quality requirements, assisting operators and employees in troubleshooting as necessary, coaching and mentoring team members on properly operating equipment, tooling, and quality requirements.

Main Duties:

Oversees the manufacture of products, including materials procurement and vendor management, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.

Ensuring all workers maintain productivity and stay on delegated tasks.

Follow up on all jobs during the fabrication processes, to avoid any problems during shipping.

Job Requirements:

5+ years' experience as a manager in steel structure.

BS degree in engineering or related field.

Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources).

Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.

Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes

Computer literacy with Microsoft Office.

Strong team building, decision-making, and people management.

The position is on-site. 

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., without current or future requirements for sponsorship of an employment-based visa status.

The salary range is $85-105k DOE
