Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is hiring a production manager for a busy manufacturing company in Skagit county. You would be responsible for overseeing the safety and efficiency of the production process, manage staff, monitor, and achieve goals, and more. The right person for this role would have previous manufacturing management experience, be flexible, solution-focused, strong attention to detail, and has great leadership skills to effectively lead and motivate those around you. This is a direct hire opportunity, and a relocation package is available for the right candidate.
Pay: $85k-$110k, DOE
Shift: 6:00am to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 6:00am        
Location: Skagit County
Position Type: Direct Hire
What you get to do:
-Oversee and manage all production supervisors and production process
-Plan and execute the production schedule and meet production goals
-Review and adjust production schedule as needed.
-Ensure the timely completion of all direct-report employee reviews.
-Coach and guide all production team members
-Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification, and procurement
-Develop and implement standard operating procedures for production operations
-Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
-Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
-Set and monitor product quality standards and implement tracking programs
-Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems and implement any plans for improvement
-Set and manage production budgets, implementing cost control and cost saving programs
-Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between departments including quality, engineering, maintenance procurement, logistics, warehouse, and management
-Monitor KPIs looking at OEE and labor hours per watt/panel
-Other duties as assigned by management
 
Education and/or Experience:
-Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
-7+ years of production experience
-Minimum 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience
-Knowledge of process improvement, budgeting, and production standards
