Production Manager (R&D/Cleanroom) at Accentuate Staffing

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing Medical Device company in the Durham area who is hiring a Production Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity working 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Production Manager will oversee production process, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished product
• Manager will oversee up to 5 employees, Manufacturing Technicians, Engineers
• Manager will monitor production efficiency,  implement process improvements, quality control procedures
• Manager will communicate with international vendors, streamlining production workflow
• Manager will operate production equipment, troubleshoot production issues, implement corrective actions
• Manager will identify process optimization, new technologies, methods,  ways to reduce costs

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years experience working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment
• Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Engineering or Manufacturing; a Masters degree preferred
• Candidates must have a strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory control
• Candidates must have prior process development background
• Experience in the medical device or electronics manufacturing industry preferred, semiconductor or sensor experience a plus
• Candidates must be familiar with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies
