Production Manager - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 100k/year - Hartford, CT

• Our client is an industry-leading plastics manufacturer. They are seeking a Production Manager with a strong background in plastic injection molding. This is a great work environment, and the plant is in excellent shape.

Responsibilities:

• Creates a culture that promotes safety as a top priority.
• Monitor KPI’s to track performance and identify areas of improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement, and constantly evaluate productivity.
• Responsible for development, training and coaching of staff.
• Individual and team goals for staff and provides continuous feedback.
• Responsible for all operations in the plant on all shifts.
• Conduct timely annual reviews and evaluations of staff.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements, implementing best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of leadership experience as production supervisor or manager.
• MUST have plastic injection molding experience.
• Experience in utilizing Lean and Kaizen initiatives to improve plant efficiency.
• Experienced working in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation:

• Base salary to 100k/year
