Production Manager - Gables Search Group

Our client is a growing multi-site manufacturer based in the Milwaukee area.

As manufacturing production manager, you will be responsible for leading production activities across 3 shifts.  In addition, you will drive continuous improvement actions and implement production related processes.

Position Overview

• Supervise salaried and hourly workers in a union production facility
• As a “hands-on” leader, bring teams together to improve manufacturing KPIs and bottom-line results within production operations
• Improve consistency in the way manufacturing processes are documented, implemented and sustained through training, standard work and structured processes
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve KPIs in the areas of cost, quality, fill, and productivity
• Use lean tools to simplify production operations

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management
• Ideally 5 or more years of progressive leadership experience within manufacturing
• Experience working in a unionize manufacturing setting
• Strong background using lean and Six Sigma tools to drive improvements
• Ability to influence and empower others through strong communication skills
