Job Summary: The Production Manager oversees the manufacturing process, ensuring that production lines run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves coordinating activities, managing resources, and ensuring that production goals are met within budget and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of machine operators and technicians, ensuring a safe working environment, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive production output and ensure that financial goals are met, including monthly sales.
- Direct reports include all Plastic & Metal Work Cells (Swiss Machining, Turning, Milling, Plastic Welding, Grinding, and Assembly)
- · Works with the Quality Manager, Engineering Manager, Sales Manager, and Finance Manager to ensure that the facility’s operational activities and tactical actions are fully executed.
- Understand the technical aspects of the facility’s machining manufacturing processes to support departmental personnel.
- Increase available capacity via improved operational efficiencies achieving higher revenue/employee, and expansion of existing capacity to handle accelerated organic growth
- Participate in Master Production Schedule and lead daily execution to meet on-time delivery of products to our original commitments and achieve the highest quality standards.
- Provide accurate and timely monthly production reports that can be provided to finance for monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or similar degree, or commensurate experience.
- 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience in a metal and plastics machining environment.
- Bilingual in English along with Vietnamese and/or Spanish a differentiator
- Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement credentials are a plus.
- Customer-focused and dedicated to developing strong relationships with key customers.
- High technical aptitude - data-driven analytic approach to problem-solving.
- Experience with ERP systems and having participated in an ERP conversion is a plus.
- Proven leadership with the ability to engage, develop, and achieve team-based results.
- Contract Manufacturing experience within the aerospace, defense, industrial, and medical markets. Advanced CNC metal machined precision components experience is required.
