Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Oversee the successful completion and profitability of multiple projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with outstanding quality.
Team Management
- Supervise, train, and mentor field employees, project managers, and subcontractors.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Client Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact during construction, ensuring clear communication and high client satisfaction.
- Lead pre-construction meetings and regular site/client check-ins.
Construction Management
- Manage job site safety, cleanliness, and security.
- Ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Resolve on-site challenges and provide expert problem-solving.
Pre-Construction & Design Collaboration
- Assist with project estimating, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Provide feedback during the design phase to optimize construction efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Operational Accountability
- Write and manage change orders, update schedules, and review progress reports.
- Approve vendor/subcontractor payments and ensure accurate client invoicing.
- Lead final inspections and manage punch lists through project completion.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of field experience in residential construction, with 5+ years in a supervisory role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies, trade practices, and
- building codes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and solve complex problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on client and team interaction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) and construction management software.
- OSHA safety training, First Aid/CPR certification, and an understanding of quality control practices are a plus.
