We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Production Manager for our Flexible Packaging division. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring that our manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities:
As a Production Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Oversee daily operations of our flexible packaging production lines, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timelines of productions are met.
- Manage the production lines process from start to finish, including film extrusion, polyethylene, and flexible packaging.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise in the production process.
- Implement and manage process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall product quality.
- Monitor and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and within budget constraints.
- Coordinate with other departments, Supply Chain team and Quality Assurance to ensure all materials and resources are met for production.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a positive culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Analyze data and create comprehensive production reports for senior management.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory standards, including quality assurance and compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a production management role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with film extrusion, flexible packaging, plastics, and/or other relevant manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated knowledge of process improvement, quality assurance principles, and manufacturing operations.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing production budgets.
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices.
- Solid understanding of industry regulations and standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
