Production Manager - Gpac

Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for overseeing manufacturing operations? Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to join their team. In this first-shift role, you will take charge of managing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team operating automatic/manual equipment, forklifts, and other machinery to blend, dispense, fill, and package products.
• Oversee daily production activities, adhering to schedules and maintaining high standards.
• Ensure products meet specifications outlined in batch tickets and comply with company SOPs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to equipment or processes.
• Provide training for new and existing team members, fostering skill development.
• Promote safety, comply with health and environmental regulations, and maintain a clean workspace.
• Prepare and submit daily reports as directed by management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on experience in a GMP facility.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
• Proficiency in computer systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to meet work schedule demands.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment as needed (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, masks, etc.).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to navigate the production facility and lift up to 15 pounds.
• Prolonged periods of sitting, walking, and working on a computer.

Work Environment

• Standard manufacturing environment with ambient temperatures, lighting, and equipment.
