Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for overseeing manufacturing operations? Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to join their team. In this first-shift role, you will take charge of managing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team operating automatic/manual equipment, forklifts, and other machinery to blend, dispense, fill, and package products.
- Oversee daily production activities, adhering to schedules and maintaining high standards.
- Ensure products meet specifications outlined in batch tickets and comply with company SOPs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to equipment or processes.
- Provide training for new and existing team members, fostering skill development.
- Promote safety, comply with health and environmental regulations, and maintain a clean workspace.
- Prepare and submit daily reports as directed by management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Hands-on experience in a GMP facility.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Proficiency in computer systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to meet work schedule demands.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment as needed (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, masks, etc.).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to navigate the production facility and lift up to 15 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of sitting, walking, and working on a computer.
Work Environment
- Standard manufacturing environment with ambient temperatures, lighting, and equipment.
