Topsider Building Systems, Inc., designers and fabricators of high-end post & beam, timber frame residential and light commercial structures shipped worldwide since 1968 seeks candidates for Production Manager at its facilities in Clemmons, NC (suburban to Winston-Salem). We are not a builder or modular home manufacturer.

- Have you "shop floor" managed employees in a woodworking or manufacturing setting?
- Have you used woodworking type equipment, ie saws, nailers, etc.?
- Can you read blueprints and shop drawings?
- Have you ever planned production?
- How would you describe your computer skills?
BASIC CRITERIA:
- Minimum of seven (7) years in hands-on manufacturing/production supervision in woodworking, cabinets, furniture, production building, or building component fabrication.
- Candidates must be computer literate (Word, Excel, etc.), able to read shop drawings, and have familiarity with lumber, plywood and other common woodworking and building materials.
- This is a job-shop type manufacturing position, not a construction supervision or homebuilding position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position contemplates job shop mostly on-floor supervision of a small workforce divided into six departments, each with lead persons and associates.
- This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
COMPENSATION:
- Up to $60k to start based on experience and qualifications.
