The production and inventory coordinator will act as liaison between Ricoh Electronics Inc production team and Ricoh Logistics Corporation warehouse team to understand the production schedule, necessary items, and stock level in Lawrenceville warehouse as well as Buford warehouse.
They must be customer focused and responsible for having proper level of stock at Lawrenceville warehouse to supply to production line run by Ricoh Electronics Inc.
Primary Responsibilities
- Communicate between client and warehouse for stocking appropriate level of products
- Ability to perform work under time constraints
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as material yardage, as well as material handling units.
- Maintain documentation and records according to established company paperless protocol.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to take direction from supervisor and superiors.
- Computer knowledge at user level -Use and familiarity of Microsoft Office suite products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience both production control and inventory control.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese in order to present information to customers and management in a professional setting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Business, Logistics and Supply Chain, or associate field), or equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirement
- Effective communication skills: ability to act as an effective advisor to management and employees across many issues.
- Ability in using computers with knowledge of MS Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Must be a persistent self-starter who can work effectively with all levels of the organization, and lead others with minimum oversight.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in English and Japanese – Reading, Writing, Speaking (Highly Desired)
Prior work experience or education for a NVOCC
