Salary range $75,000 to $100,000
Five plus years experience
A high school diploma or GED is required. Community College technical degree plus 5 years shop floor experience in manufacturing environment OR a bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
The Maintenance Supervisor has the primary responsibility for protecting the food by conducting maintenance procedures and documentation to meet all regulatory, customer, and company requirements. Supervises maintenance technicians, performs maintenance activities, schedules employees and coordinates activities to keep the bakery running in a 24/7 environment. Supervises and assists in repairs of breakdowns, alignment, troubleshooting and operations of building and bakery equipment. Initiate preventative maintenance action, schedules and supervise preventative maintenance activities.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and provide technical knowledge in repair of breakdowns and troubleshooting.
Ensures responsive and proactive maintenance support to all plant customers. Ensure service calls and machinery repairs are completed in a timely manner.
Prepare technician schedule for 24/7 day operation line coverage and preventative maintenance.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to document bakery needs for fiscal year, including cost value of equipment repair or replacement.
Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for uptime and production throughput by implementing proven professional maintenance and reliability improvement processes. Maintain preventive/predictive maintenance programs (including failure and root cause analysis).
Service and repair equipment on a continual basis. Adhere to established maintenance schedules.
Select, supervise, and provide professional development to maintenance personnel.
Drives reduction of losses through breakdown analysis and other appropriate continuous improvement tools.
Maintains all parts acquisition activities. Maintain a compliant stockroom operation that provides repair parts for critical process equipment as well as necessary consumables for the plant.
Working knowledge of national, state, and local regulatory requirements in the areas of food safety, safety, environment and emergency management.
Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required. Community College technical degree plus 5 years shop floor experience in manufacturing environment OR a bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
Previous Lean, Six Sigma, 5S experience is preferred.
Food and/or beverage experience is preferred.
SAP or equivalent systems experience
Maintenance/engineering expertise in hydraulics, mechanics, process and electrical functions of equipment
Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) electrical troubleshooting knowledge
Knowledge of Ammonia refrigeration systems
