Shift/Hours: 1st, 8am - 5pm (Mon-Fri)
Base Salary: $90k - $120k (based on experience)

About the Opportunity:
Sterling Engineering's 20+ year client, a leading manufacturer of US made custom thermal components is looking for a Maintenance Engineering Manager to join their organization. This is a stable company whom has been a leader in their market for over 50 years with a diverse book of business in all industries setting them up for stability and growth.
Job Duties:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the production floor, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Continuously analyze, control, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Organize and balance production workflows to meet production schedules and on-time delivery targets.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks to streamline operations and reduce downtime.
- Minimize work-in-process inventory and optimize lead times for cost and time efficiency.
- Motivate, train, and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous development.
- Ensure the consistent production of high-quality components that meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with the engineering and quality teams to support product improvements and resolve technical challenges.
- Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives to elevate performance across production processes.
- Prepare regular reports on production status, identifying issues and solutions for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team of 60-70 employees effectively.
- Strong understanding of engineering concepts such as Bill of Materials (BOM), costing, product design, and CAD.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example, motivating teams to achieve production goals while fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and senior management.
