About the Job
- Monitor, modify, and evaluate stamping dies to coordinate and implement process improvements
- Prepare design (hand and CAD) sketches and blueprints of machinery, fixtures, and layouts
- Process equipment evaluation, specifications, procurement, and implementation
- Inspection of Stamping dies, Trials for aging
- Demonstrated Team Player with good communication skills (written & verbal)
- Coordinate with production personnel, vendors, and external contractors to implement process improvements (Kaizens)
- Structured problem solving experience (e.g. - 5 Why's, 8D)
- Work with robotic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HMI systems to meet safety standards and customer requirements
- Follow standard work instructions (e.g. - LOTO, Arc Flash, documentation)
- Primary focus on Safety
- Perform other duties assigned
Other Job Functions
- Comply with FIC's Safety policies and procedures
- Comply with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 procedures and standards
- Perform 5-S activities
- 1+ years of experience in a Production Engineering role
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or relevant work experience
- Must have proficient oral and written communication skills
- Must be willing to cross-train
- Must be able to work company's required overtime
- Must comply with FIC's Attendance and Punctuality Policy
