Production Coordinator (Starting Pay $19.00/HR)
Resume required for this position.
Purpose & Scope: Assist in all areas of purchasing and production planning for the plant facility.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Create shift production schedules for all product produced at the Lenoir facility
- Manage raw material and finished goods inventories to maintain order fill rates and minimize aged inventories
- Work hand in hand with plant production leaders to coordinate optimum product mix
- Meet KPIs for Order Fill, Make Sheet Accuracy, etc…
- Maintain data within Scheduling System that drives constraints, capacities, and accurate forecasts
- Process orders, create purchase orders, enter purchasing and planning data
Working Conditions: General office environment, some exposure to manufacturing environment with extreme temperatures, slippery floors, etc.
Requirements
- Above average Microsoft Excel Skills
- In depth knowledge of production and inventory control processes
- Superb organizational and analytical skills
- Detail oriented and strong multi-tasking skills
- Strong communication skills, must communicate with all departments in the plant and frequently with vendors.
