From critical care to specialized emergency medicine and advanced diagnostic imaging, we provide a multitude of inpatient and outpatient services.

With 158 beds, we offer services from emergency to radiology, robotic surgery to advanced specialty care with the recent expansion of our dedicated Cardiac unit, we have the skill, experience and cutting-edge tools to meet your needs. The role you’ll contribute:
Actively participates in an outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Under the direction of the Managing chef, responsible for preparation of all foods and related items for cafeteria andor catering customers and or food for patients. Ensures that all food production is produced according to recipe specifications and proper procedures. Ensures that all products meet standards for quality, taste, appearance and freshness. Records product temperatures and monitors holding times as appropriate. Meets all production deadlines. Demonstrates cost conscious behaviors in all aspects. Adheres to all sanitation, safety, cleanliness and food storage standards. Assists with serving customers and provides world-class customer service.

+ Minimizes food waste by preparing the amount needed, without running out; ensures proper portioning.
+ Is proactive to prepare substitutions for foods that may run out; effectively and proactively communicates those shortages and substitutions to the appropriate people
+ Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure a smooth operation of the department.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED:
· Able to communicate in English well to effectively communicate and interact with internal and external customers
· Ability to follow, read and write recipes as needed.

· Bilingual in Spanish, Microsoft Office Suite
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
