About the Job
The Production Control Supervisor oversees employees in the Production Control Office. Their responsibilities include planning, work assignments, policy implementation, process improvement recommendations, scheduling, and inventory management.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure effective employee relations, provide coaching and development, and make employment decisions. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution
- Provide daily supervision to team, emphasizing safety, department priorities and time keeping
- Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results
- Proactively seek continuous improvement opportunities
- Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and provide regular progress reports to manager
- Coordinate inventory needs with inventory control and ensure appropriate levels meet customer demands
- Present reports and recommendations to management regarding product choices and stocking levels to promote profitability
- Manage Quality Discrepancy Reports (QDRs)
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects and business initiatives as needed
- Supervise, monitor, and manage the work of others to ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time
- Perform other duties, as required
- Bachelor’s degree or High School Education/GED with equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years of supervisory/leadership experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of inventory control experience
- Ability to work with multiple systems in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to think and respond quickly and adjust operations in response to unplanned events
- Ability to read simple to complex documents in which considerable inference may be required
- Able to work in an office environment with occasional extended periods in a manufacturing environment requiring the use of personal protective equipment
