We provide standard magnetic cores and accessories as an authorized distributor of several product lines and through our manufacturing services department we machine custom products to meet customer specifications.
The Production Control Assistant is primarily responsible for pulling work orders for the manufacturing floor and assisting the Warehouse Manager with other Production Control functions, as needed.

Essential Job Functions:
- Assist warehouse with receiving containers and storing inventory, as needed.
- Count and verify product to ensure quantities and product match the shop order.
- Inspect parts for workmanship defects
- Pack parts using existing packing materials and processes.
- Notify manager or group leader of problems with equipment and/or product.
- Act as back-up in overseeing the machining tool crib to ensure all tooling, fixtures, and grinding wheel inventory is maintained and controlled to support all shop activity.
- Assist with cycle counts
- Pull parts from the inventory shelves per the packing list
- Verify part numbers and quantities against packing lists for all shipments.
- Label parts, mark packing slips and mark shop orders to maintain traceability and identification per established procedures.
- Inspect incoming customer material for damage
- Maintain MI instruction files for machining
- Maintain a neat, clean and safe work area.
- Follow all safety and applicable quality and departmental procedures.
- Recommend improvements to processes and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned in order to meet organizational and customer objectives and business conditions.
- Ability to control and organize inventory and inventory records
- Ability to operate a computer
- Moderate to heavy lifting is required from time to time
- Safe use of material handling equipment
Preferred Training/Skills:
- High School Diploma
- Additional applicable experience may be substituted for the high school diploma
- Knowledge of receiving and shipping documents and procedures
You’ll be with us:
- Full-time
- 1st Shift - Monday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. / Will need to flex schedule to work Friday once per month or as needed
- Overtime available, as needed
