Position Title: Cleanroom Sanitation Technician
Employment Type: Non-Exempt (Overtime paid at Time and a Half for hours exceeding 40 per week)
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cleanroom Sanitation Technician to join our team in a dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturing and warehouse environment. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring a clean, sterile, and safe workspace by adhering to industry-leading standards and protocols. Your efforts will directly contribute to the production of life-enhancing pharmaceutical products, while working in a supportive and growth-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sanitize Controlled Environments: Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of manufacturing and warehouse areas using specialized germicides and equipment, following established CGMP, OSHA, and industry regulations.
- Sterile Gown Protocol: Properly don sterile gowns and ensure compliance with contamination prevention guidelines during the dressing process.
- Surface & Structural Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, ceilings, and surfaces within controlled manufacturing spaces.
- Safe Waste Disposal: Manage and dispose of regular and biologically sensitive waste in compliance with safety procedures.
- Document & Verify Work: Accurately complete cleaning records and logs to document all performed duties.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of industrial cleaning experience, ideally in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
- Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, procedures, and safety guidelines in English.
- Basic communication skills in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following protocols.
