Production Associate Position Summary: A Production Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks related to the manufacturing and production processes within the company. This company is a global packaging solutions company, so the specific duties of a Production Associate may vary depending on the location and the products being produced.
Production Associate Job Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and company procedures. This includes setup, operation, and minor adjustments to machines.
Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that products meet the established quality standards. Report and address any deviations or defects promptly.
Material Handling: Handle raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials as needed. This may include loading and unloading materials and operating forklifts or other material-handling equipment.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and address minor equipment malfunctions or issues. Notify maintenance or supervisors if more significant problems arise.
Production Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production counts, quality data, and other relevant documentation.
Teamwork: Collaborate with team members, including machine operators, maintenance personnel, and supervisors, to ensure smooth production processes.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep work areas and equipment clean and in good working condition. Perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
Process Improvement: Suggest process improvements and efficiency enhancements to enhance productivity and product quality.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including environmental and quality standards.
Production Associate position requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
