Job Summary:
Are you skilled with your hands and enjoy building mission-critical assemblies, cables, components, and circuit cards for the aerospace/defense, automotive, commercial, and industrial sectors? We have an excellent opportunity for you to join our team as a Production Associate, building essential electrical/electronic products for U.S. military and commercial customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical/electronic systems using rivets, bolts, soldering, and micro-welding; form wire harnesses.
- Follow instructions from work orders, diagrams, and wire lists for materials and assembly sequence.
- Apply crimping, sealing liquid, or soldering to secure components.
- Insert cable in plastic tubing or apply plastic sealant to protect cables from dust and moisture.
- Test wiring continuity with continuity testers.
- Label completed products for inventory or customer delivery.
- Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and work orders.
- Select and loop wires based on specified color, marking, or length for assembly.
- Clean parts with solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
- Inspect and test assemblies for resistance and operational factors and record results.
- Pack assemblies for shipment and transport them to storage.
- Identify, adjust, and repair/replace components to meet specifications.
- Assist with training or explaining assembly procedures to other workers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED, and/or technical/administrative trade school.
- 1-3 years of related assembly experience preferred.
- We value experience in production, processing, and quality control, with knowledge of materials and manufacturing techniques; we will train detail-oriented candidates who enjoy hands-on work.
Other Requirements:
- Assessments: Completion of Behavioral and Cognitive Assessments.
- Regulatory Compliance: Applicants must meet the definition of "U.S. Persons" per ITAR and EAR regulations.
- Legal Compliance: All new hires must verify their identity and eligibility to work in the U.S. CME cannot employ individuals on student or temporary work visas.
