Production Assistant - Micro Tech

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our production team as a Production Assistant. This role involves a variety of administrative and production-related tasks, including inventory management, reporting, and assisting with material handling to support the smooth flow of production. The ideal candidate will be proactive, eager to learn, and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Manage inventory for select customers, track materials, and provide weekly reports to the planning department.
• Order Management: Assist in monitoring and updating the open order report to ensure timely processing and accurate tracking.
• Job Closure: Verify product quantities and placement electronically before closing production jobs to ensure accuracy.
• Raw Material Reporting: Maintain and update inventory reports for raw materials used in production.
• Material Ordering: Order materials for production needs and consumable supplies for the LFI process.
• Pre-Shipment Management: Oversee and manage pre-shipment reports and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Customer Shipments: Prepare and coordinate daily customer shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Inventory Transfers: Assist with the processing of product inventory transfers and material transfers as needed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth production operations and timely reporting.

Basic Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Familiarity with JobBoss Software is a plus
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software/tools
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to read and write in English
• U.S. Citizenship or valid Green Card with authorization to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
