About the Job
Overview:
Performs project tasks/assignments of a basic nature ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
Follows methods, techniques, and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, & cable harnessing on sub-assemblies and units
Major Position Responsibilities:- Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings.
• Perform single tasks for extended periods of time.
• Work with basic hand tools.
• Accurately complete process paperwork and entering data into the applicable work order management system.
• May perform mixing of epoxies per specification.
• Able to work with chemicals without limitations, while adhering to the prescribed PPE.
• Must comply with all safety requirements such as but limited to PPE, chemical handling and safety related trainings.
• Read and interpreting basic schematics and drawings.
- Able to focus on single tasks for extended periods of time.
• Able to sit for extended periods of time.
• Basic English
• Strong hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Comfortable working with small/delicate components.
• General communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk reach within hands and arms length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Basic math knowledge.
• Ability to interpret basic documents and work instructions.
