Akron Area Company is hiring a Production Assembler. Key responsibilities of the Production Assembler are to assemble light duty industrial machinery. This involves mechanical assembly, mounting and wiring of electrical components. Electrical Assembly and Wiring – Industrial Enclosure Assemblies consisting of the mounting of electrical devices, Point-to-Point wiring and termination, application of labels, and ID Tags. Prepare equipment for shipping. Use hand tools, power tools, and other Manufacturing equipment as needed.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in Manufacturing Industrial equipment and electrical enclosures.
- Must be able to read and interpret Mechanical Detail and Machinery Assembly Drawings.
- Must be able to inspect fabricated parts and verify dimensions using tape measurers, calipers & micrometers.
- Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Able to Lift Up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand or kneel for extended periods of time..
- Able to Use Basic Hand Tools, Power Tools, Pneumatic Tools, Band Saw, Drill Press.
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
