Product Validation Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct design validation and verification testing of products and processes to meet internal and industry standards.
- Complete up to 100 work requests annually, documenting results through detailed written test reports.
- Provide technical guidance to engineers and laboratory technicians to inform product development decisions.
- Prepare and distribute reports on quality investigations for laboratory and field-based assessments.
- Perform root cause failure analysis for field-returned products.
- Conduct field witness testing for products involved in claims or performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with the Innovation team to test and validate new technologies or products new to the company or industry.
- Maintain a 5S-compliant work environment, achieving at least 85% audit compliance.
Education & Experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field, with 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated problem-solving expertise and strong communication skills.
- Experience setting up and conducting performance tests using laboratory equipment and instrumentation preferred.
- Proficiency in handling testing equipment such as pressure gauges, flow meters, load cells, and pressure transducers.
- Familiarity with ISO 17025 quality documents, including SOPs, design specifications, work instructions, training guides, and test methods.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as CSA, ASSE, ASME, ASTM, and ISO is a plus.
