Product Tech Support PA - Cognizant Technology Solutions

We are looking for a strong Product Technical Support Agent in the greater Earth City, MO who has a strong analytical and problem-solving background in the medical claims logic with a focus on provider services. This is a hybrid role and will require one or 2 days per week in the local office in Earth City.

Purpose:

This individual will work with a variety of healthcare providers researching and answering questions about service payment. This incumbent will answer queries through email, phone, text, tickets created in various programs, etc. The individual will research different sources for information and answers to queries.

What you will do:

• Review and update low, normal and high priority client tickets required by Service Delivery Manager (SDM)

• Using various tools, watch for trending files received or identify missing files, missing remit requests, etc.

• Timely creation of Agree Requests for EDI enrollment for claims and remits

• Provide updates to submitter and account tables when applicable

• Open and follow-up on all second level requests via job requests

• Perform QA as requested by co-workers

• Responsible for all client communication including emails, voicemails, and tickets

• Daily file review and/or releasing

• Perform all claim status checks

• Payor research using internal resources and third party vendors

• Become proficient on internal tools used including but not limited to Submitter, Explorer, Payors, Tables, Ops Page, Tableau

• Prepare out of office updates for SDM. This entails bringing SDM up to speed on any events/issues that occurred while they may have been out of the office either on business, pleasure, or due to illness

• Help ensure that appropriate coverage is maintained for system and phones at all times

• Other duties as assigned by management

To be successful in this role, you will have

• High school education or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus)

• Strong MSOffice Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) skills

• Proven analytical and research skills

• Proven attention to detail
