Position: Product Systems Analyst
Location: Birmingham, Alabama (In-office/On-site)
About the Role:
We’re seeking a Product Systems Analyst to join our exceptional technology team at our Birmingham headquarters. This role is crucial in ensuring our systems meet high standards and support our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Analysis: Gather and interpret requirements from stakeholders—including customers, product managers, and business teams—to define system needs and objectives.
- User Support and Documentation: Address system-related queries and issues, while creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation such as user guides and system specifications.
- Quality Assurance and Testing: Oversee testing processes to ensure our systems meet quality and functionality standards. Develop test cases and scenarios as needed.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate current processes and systems to identify and implement improvements, ensuring competitive performance and market efficiency.
- System Design and Specification: Design and specify system architecture and requirements for new product features, balancing technical and business considerations.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data on product performance, user feedback, and system efficiency to guide strategic decisions and adjustments.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to implement new systems or modifications, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to decipher complex systems and propose effective solutions.
- Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Familiarity with SQL and database management.
- Experience with systems analysis, design tools, and process mapping.
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to various stakeholders.
- Understanding of project management principles and tools.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
