Responsibilities:Modern Technology Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Product Support Analyst to join our Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Program Office Logistics & Sustainment team. This role is responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating the support and sustainment of an MDA Ballistics Missile Defense System (BMDS). The selected candidate will report to the Senior Sustainment lead to ensure that the BMDS meets operational readiness, reliability, and lifecycle requirements, supporting the mission and maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle sustainment of defense systems, ensuring products are available, reliable, and cost-effective throughout their lifecycle.
- Logistics and Maintenance: Develop, manage, and oversee comprehensive logistics and maintenance strategies to support product availability, including supply chain management, repair processes, and field maintenance concepts.
- Team Leadership: Lead or participate in cross-functional teams in product support initiatives, including coordination with engineering, logistics, operations, and acquisitions departments.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, partner organizations and service personnel. Participate in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) management team meetings, Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and other logistics related meetings.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all product support activities comply with contractual requirements.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to assess support performance, forecast future needs, and make recommendations for improvements. Provide regular updates to senior level civilian and military leadership on product support metrics and outcomes.
- Travel: Requires up to 25% travel CONUS & OCONUS (OCONUS periods may be 30+ days in duration) Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for most MTSI positions.
- Education: BS/BA in logistics, engineering, business administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Substitution of relevant work experience will be considered
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in product support, logistics, or maintenance management, with a strong background in military or defense-related systems. Knowledge of DoD Logistics enterprise best practices, policies and procedures. Experience with ACAT II/III acquisitions programs is highly desirable.
- Certifications: Certifications such as Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Lifecycle Logistics, Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar are preferred.
- Security Clearance: Requires active DoD Top Secret Clearance with an in-scope SSBI (SCI Eligible)
