Los Angeles, CA
About the Job
About the Role:
Dreamscape Learn (DSL) is a leading pioneer in the realm of VR education – we merge experiential pedagogy, cutting-edge technology, and cinematic narrative to transform learning. We're venture-backed and founded out of Arizona State University (ASU) and Dreamscape Immersive.
The Dreamscape Learn Product team is seeking Product Strategy Leads to play a crucial role in shaping our emerging suite of VR learning programs, with a focus on our first-party content verticals (i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Art History, etc.) You will act as the business lead for a portfolio of verticals overseeing everything from market research and TAM analysis to requirements settings to positioning and GTM. You'll partner with Product VPs, Creative Writers & Producers, Academics, Curriculum Designers, and Engineering teams to ensure that we bring deeply engaging and commercially viable learning programs to market. Lastly, in addition to vertical ownership you'll have the opportunity to drive cross-cutting company-wide projects, supporting our leadership team as needed.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 2-5 years of consulting, corporate strategy, or product/program management experience that's looking for early-stage start-up experience and a deeper view of the edtech and/or VR industries.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct K12 and Higher Education market research, TAM sizing, user/buyer interviews, and map the competitive landscape across your content verticals.
- Develop a product thesis, draft high-level product requirements, and help source subject matters experts to set cross-functional teams up for success.
- Develop a robust testing plan to iteratively gather feedback from educators, students, and administrators, ensuring tight product-market-fit; and work with ASU's research lab to design studies that prove product efficacy and student outcomes.
- Partner with our Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Educator Experience teams to commercialize your vertical offerings including formalizing the product package, crafting positioning statements, shaping collateral, and ensuring successful delivery across our customer base.
- Support important ad hoc company-wide strategy projects such as researching new verticals or areas for opportunity, supporting strategic partnerships, developing pricing models, documenting company priorities, and more.
- Generally, stay up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and education trends to inform decision-making across our product suite.
