Client is looking for a Lifecycle Specialist out of our Tampa Headquarters. We’re currently looking for 8:00am to 5:00pm shift, working Monday through Friday.
The Lifestyle Specialist will take the lead for overall product lifecycle processes. They will incorporate the inputs from commercial team on new, promotional and exiting of products in collaboration with supply planning, procurement, commercial teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop the work plan to bring in new product, product re-formulations, product re-launch or production deletion process after alignment has been obtained to execute.
• Early assessment and modelling of feasibility of product innovations based on brand marketing insights, external industry trends and Florida business values
• Facilitate and document the discussions and communications of all product introduction, product deletion to all relevant stakeholders
• Evaluate forecast quality using trend analysis of like products, past product introductions learnings, commercial input, etc.
• Proactively manage and evaluate the effectiveness of new product introductions with recommendations on measures of success by applying business logic and executional priorities..
• Lead the SKU optimization process with recommendation of product deletions after taking into consideration all customer, commercial inputs using a standard modeling methodology.
• Facilitate the flow of product to ensure that we have the needed product for launch or reduction of inventory with exiting products.
• Proactively and timely evaluation of risks in product lifecycle, this would include finished products, raw material as part of ongoing routine to senior planning leaders.
• Manage the lifecycle process within JDA process with the appropriate forecast, migration of product demand needs. This would also include the forecast submission to all planning systems i.e. Anaplan.
• Collaborate with other planners (bottler to bottler, deployment, production, transportation) as needed to enable an integrated planning activities and processes.
• Provide communication and direction to master data including authorized material list for all incoming and outgoing products.
• Provide innovation and long-range forecast needs for promotional packaging to support demand planning, production and procurement activities/communication
• Provide feedback and recommendations for ongoing continuous improvement needed to make our Commercial Lifecycle process more effective
• Support all related lifecycle demand forecast requirements and or other assigned projects
• Clearly present information to large groups of associates on a regular basis
• Foster collaboration with the Customer Management, Field Sales and Marketing Leadership Teams to gain alignment on forecast recommendations
• The ability to influence others through teamwork & positivity
• Very detailed & strong communication skills
• Demonstrates client Florida cultural norms on a daily basis
For this role you will need:
• Bachelor''s degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations Management or Engineering disciplines; or applicable supply chain experience.
• APICS certification is a plus
• Five (5) plus years’ experience in area of Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, or Operations required.
• Product lifecycle experience highly preferred
• Shown progressive role progression and scope of responsibilities
• Specific experience with JDA, statistical modeling and demand planning experience is highly preferred
• The ability to learn/use Company reporting sources to provide reliable data to make fact based decisions and after action reviews (Salient Margin Minder & Dashboards
