Category Specialist DTC eCommerce - Home Appliances Top skills: Project Management Communication Promotion Planning Schedule: Fully onsite KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS: Role and Responsibilities: - Manage: The Category Specialist will support the general manager of the DTC business for these HE products. You will work with cross-functional teams on areas such as forecasting demand generation merchandising marketing customer experience finance fulfillment PL management post-sale service Omni Channel execution and more. - Build: Help build a best-in-class digital experience focused on an end-to-end shopping journey focused on the customer brand and product. Build and execute GTM strategy working with stakeholders from product management and engineering. - Optimize: Synthesize data into meaningful insights to 1- enable consistent and timely decisions to help grow the business. 2- Optimize for conversion from product discovery throughout the journey ending with delivery. 3- Identify areas of improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiencies. Qualifications: - 3 years of experience in Business Management experience for Technology Consumer Products and/or Consumer Electronics. - Extensive experience implementing category strategy in direct-to-consumer eCommerce. - Knowledge and passion for direct-to-consumer eCommerce business practices and operations. Digital UI/UX enhancements experience a plus. - Ability to facilitate cross-functional teams and navigate matrixed organizations in a global setting. - Strong analytical data-driven problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Ability to work under pressure and deadlines on multiple initiatives with competing priorities cutting through noise and focusing on the business impact. - Entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills verbal and written - Experience with Tableau Confluence SQL preferred - College degree required MBA a plus.

Length: 12 months with extensions Schedule: Hybrid, not fully on-site YOE: 2-3 years Education: Bach is a min requirement. MBA would be a plus. Top skills: - Project Management* - Promotional Planning* - Excel Modeling and Tableau* (extracting data from Tableau) - Marketing - Direct consumer experience - Data driven and analytical - UI/UX (plus) Day to day: - Support direct consumer ecomm business from Samsung.com - Actively support planning and execution of promotions on Samsung.com - When working on promotions and product launches will be communicating cross functionally across the org - ROI on promotions and do analytics on excel - Example of day to day o Coming up with promotion for appliances on Samsung.com & come up with estimated investment for promotion. o Pitch it to respective stakeholders. Once approved they will execute  Work with pricing ops to set up all offers on S.com  Work with merchandising team to decide how the customer experience will follow the promotion o Communicating about promotion to marketing partners so they market the promotion in their respective channels Background: - eComm is a plus - Retail in consumer electronics is a plus Team: - eComm. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
