Product Research Manager Consumer Centric Sensory
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Product Research Manager, are to:
- Grounded in science and data driven decision making, to create and execute studies to inform and inspire our innovation product strategies and guide our development efforts in producing remarkable consumer experiences. (such as driver of liking and superiority benchmarking programs);
- Translate and bring to life research learning into meaningful product strategy data that acts as the blueprint for product user development;
- Able to converse and translate this data to the brand and product development team to enable scale up of the product experience innovation;
- Apply a creative mindset to discover, implement and scale new research techniques, behavioral sensory/bioinstrumentation measurement tools, quantitative and qualitative evaluations, consumer co-creation sessions, to develop deeper consumer and product insights;
- Mange and review research partners to ensure high levels of quality are in place. With vendors who are attributed preferred status drive an annual engagement program which includes co creation of techniques, bespoke learning sessions and business partner engagement activities;
- These partnerships to drive enhanced quality of output, time and cost efficiencies;
- Be part of the Cat Architect team by being an integral Partner with Category development (Global / Regional) leads to define yearly product research learning plans. Identifying gaps, ensuring budget is secured from the end-to-end plan and execute with demonstratable ROI to the category innovation pipeline;
- Direct consumer engagement activities in accordance with the policies, procedures, ethics and protocols required by Bayer, Health Authorities and other relevant regulatory agencies;
- Act as coach by supporting the day to day activities of the PX technician, providing direction and technical support.
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (or equivalent);
- Strong competency in execution of consumer centric sensory and consumer science led activities both qual and quant. Enhanced data analytics experience desirable;
- Prior experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams. Demonstrated ability to work across technical and commercial disciplines and influence stakeholders not in direct line of management;
- Strong presentation skills that can communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical colleagues;

Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree (or equivalent); with min. 10y experience, Master’s Degree (or equivalent.) with min. 6y experience
