Product Quality Engineer - Nesco Resource, LLC

Nesco Resource is hiring a Product Quality Engineer for their client located in Wallingford CT

A DAY in the life of a Product Quality Engineer:

• Follow up customer and internal / supplier claims (until closed effectively)
• Ensure Develop the inspection of products and their processes of fabrication in accordance with established plans
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and problem-solving drills
• Ensure that all relevant Quality personnel have proper training and documented evidence that supports it. Could be either train inspectors directly or with external qualified support
• Participate in product and process audits
• Maintain inspection records, daily technical support and monitoring of inspection activities, including data collection
• Prepare necessary information packages to support Internal Quality Audits and follow-up of open/pending Corrective Actions

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• 5+ years of Industrial Engineer or similar experience.
• To comply with ITAR, must be US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident

• AS9100 Aerospace, ability to monitor and control processes
• Management of project development deliverables quality
• Ability to Conduct Quality audit or diagnosis
• Ability to propose solutions to optimize processes, products and tools
• Skilled knowledge of AS9100 Aerospace Quality Standards
• Continuous improvement methods – Lean – Six sigma
• FMEA/Control Plan knowledge
• Internal Audit experience
• Root cause analysis methodology
• Demonstrated competency communicating with employees at various levels of operations regarding process and assessment requirements
