Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Product Portfolio Manager to lead the development and management of our automotive light and heavy-duty vehicle parts product portfolio, ensuring alignment with market needs and company goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the automotive OEM and aftermarket parts market for both light and heavy-duty vehicles, and a proven ability to work cross-functionally to bring products to market successfully. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute product strategy and roadmap for automotive parts products.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to develop product requirements and go-to-market strategies.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept through launch and beyond.
- Analyze competitive offerings to ensure our products meet and exceed industry standards.
- Work closely with internal and external partners to ensure product quality, timely delivery, and outstanding customer experience.
- Monitor and report on product performance and make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in the automotive industry, specifically with light and heavy-duty vehicle parts. Knowledge of automotive systems, components, and the specific requirements for light and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Market Insight: Ability to conduct market research, understand customer needs, and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Strategic Planning: Skill in defining product strategy, setting a vision, and creating a roadmap that aligns with business goals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience working with agile engineering, sales, operations, and marketing teams to develop and execute product plans.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage the product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.
- Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate product value and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage partners, and drive product success in the market.
