Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to lead the execution and development of MightyID, our flagship IAM resiliency product. MightyID specializes in delivering backup, recovery, migration, and failover capabilities for enterprise identity platforms, including Okta, Microsoft Entra (Azure AD), Auth0 and PingOne.
As the Product Owner, you will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless delivery of innovative, robust, secure, and scalable IAM solutions. Your role will involve managing the product backlog, prioritizing features, and ensuring alignment between technical execution and the product vision.
This role is ideal for a candidate with extensive experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and a proven track record as a Product Owner or Product Manager.

Key Responsibilities
Product Execution and Delivery
- Define and manage the product backlog for MightyID, translating the product vision into actionable tasks.
- Translate roadmap and features into user stories and requirements for development team to execute.
- Work with development teams to ensure timely delivery of features, bug fixes, and updates that align with product goals.
- Prioritize work items based on guidance from head of product, customer needs, business impact, and technical feasibility.
- Ensure MightyID’s capabilities in backup, recovery, migration, and failover meet enterprise-grade standards for identity platforms like Okta, Entra, and PingOne.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement resilient IAM solutions that minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Act as the primary liaison between the product team, development, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on goals.
- Work closely with the Head of Product to align on product strategy and long-term vision.
- Engage with customers and support teams to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Support sales and marketing teams with product expertise and insight.
- Leverage your deep knowledge of IAM technologies to shape the product’s functionality and ensure compatibility with industry-leading IdPs.
- Grow knowledge and technical expertise in IAM and identity platforms as needed.
- Stay informed about market trends, competition, customer pain points, and advancements in IAM resiliency to maintain MightyID’s competitive edge.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Write clear and detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation to guide the development team.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 4-6 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in a technology or software development environment.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), ideally with expertise in platforms such as Okta, Entra, and PingOne.
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts (RBAC, SSO, MFA), authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), and enterprise identity frameworks.
- Strong understanding of standards like FedRAMP, SOC2, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS and others for identity and access controls.
- Experience with IAM resiliency strategies, including disaster recovery, failover, and data migration.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Proven ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
