OverviewWe are seeking a full-time Product Marketing Manager for our Inland and Coastal Fishing division in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for working at the intersection of product development, marketing, and sales with a broad responsibility to develop and implement a marketing strategy roadmap for a specific product. Essential FunctionsDemonstrates proficient knowledge of Garmin products, marketing process, and markets servedEffectively manages products/projects with little oversightOwns marketing plans/strategy for all product development projects within a designated segmentDevelops new marketing plans/strategies based on research of competitors and internal reflectionCoordinates strategic and tactical plans across all marketing areas including advertising, social media, sponsorship, and public relationsApplies marketing strategy to new/existing productsDefines product positioning for approved products and messaging which communicates the value, benefits, and unique selling points of productsAttends industry tradeshows to master knowledge of market(s) servedLeads cross-functional teams within marketing communications/marketing for new products and projectsEnsures all marketing materials are consistent/accurateAble to present information to immediate teams and cross-functional teamsPartners with other team members utilizing feedback while working towards a collaborative outcome, has proficient problem-solving skills, engages appropriate team members to solve problems, and builds relationships across multiple organizationsApplies Garmin's Mission, Vision and Values and wants to see Garmin succeed Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree AND a minimum of 2 years previous marketing experienceDemonstrated product or project management experienceDemonstrated leadership experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and ExcelMust be detail/team-oriented, positive, able to prioritize/multi-task, and demonstrate the ability to work proactively/effectively with minimal supervision in a flexible, fast paced, and challenging environmentDemonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsDriven problem solver with proven success in solving difficult problemsExcellent time management/follow-up skills with the ability to generate/support pragmatic solutions that meet Garmin's market launch requirements, while maintaining high quality standardsSuperior organizational/analytical skills with keen attention to detail/qualityPrevious experience working in a team environmentGarmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
