Product Marketing Manager
Pay Rate: Up to $105/hr depending on location and experience
Location: 100% onsite in either Burlingame, CA OR Los Angeles, CA OR Seattle, WA
Duration: ~ 9 Months
Our well-known Technology client is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to support the expansion of their VR/MR digital products, such as gift cards, code-to-content, and subscription cards. This role will be pivotal in collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and streamline workflows, ensuring seamless digital product expansion through sales channels. You'll work closely with teams including PM, engineering, tax, accounting, and legal to optimize both commercial and back-end processes for efficient growth.

You'll work closely with teams including PM, engineering, tax, accounting, and legal to optimize both commercial and back-end processes for efficient growth.
Product Marketing Responsibilities:
- Manage cross-functional workflows to scale digital products via sales channels.
- Establish and communicate durable processes to streamline roles and responsibilities, enabling global expansion.
- Partnering with internal stakeholders such as Product Operations teams (Marcom, Comms, Sales, Data Science, Marketing Insights, Growth) to drive momentum in the VR/MR category.
- Partnering with external vendors to help manage the product.
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing digital product launches.
- Work with insights to develop consumer-centric strategies and programs.
- Collaborate with sales on category analysis, presentation materials, and creative assets for product launches.
Product Marketing Must Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in a Marketing / Sales / Strategy role, e.g. Product Marketing, Product Management, Category Management, Brand Management.
- Experience defining and driving cross-functional (XFN) workstreams.
- Experience using Google Sheets and Slides for internal documents/ presentations.
- Combination of strategic product marketing experience and hands-on tactical execution.
- Experience with consumer / customer research and proficiency in using data and insights to inform product and GTM/ in-market strategy.
- Experience working in a cross-functional capacity within a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Experience delivering product launch results with internal and external partners including Production, Brand, Sales and PR.
- BA/BS degree in marketing, business, product development, or related field.
Product Marketing Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and/or domain knowledge in VR, video games, gift cards, mobile devices, and/or hardware/software platforms.
- Marketing experience in consumer hardware, software products and electronics.
- Experience and/or domain knowledge in AR, VR, MR, smart home, wearable devices, mobile devices, and/or hardware/software platforms.
