Position Title: Product Marketing Manager PMM)
Position Objective: Responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies that drive the adoption and success of the company’s products. As a key member of the marketing team, the PMM will collaborate closely with product management, sales, and other departments to create compelling product positioning, messaging, and marketing campaigns. This role involves understanding the target market, customer needs, competitive landscape, and translating these insights into effective marketing strategies that support business goals.
Position Responsibilities:
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and updates, working closely with cross-functional teams (product, sales, customer success, etc.).
- Product Positioning & Messaging: Define and communicate the value proposition, key benefits, and differentiators for products. Craft clear and compelling messaging for use in marketing collateral, sales tools, and campaigns.
- Market Research & Customer Insights: Conduct market research and gather customer insights to inform product positioning, marketing strategies, and to identify market opportunities.
- Sales Enablement: Create and deliver sales enablement tools, including product collateral, case studies, battle cards, and product training for the sales team to support successful selling.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, ensuring that the company’s products are effectively positioned against competitors in the market.
- Campaign Development: Work with the broader marketing team to create integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, content, and social media strategies, to drive product awareness and demand.
- Content Creation: Develop product-related content, such as blog posts, white papers, webinars, videos, and presentations, that align with the marketing strategy and address customer pain points.
- Performance Measurement: Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing programs and campaigns, using data to refine strategies and improve results.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, sales, customer success, and engineering teams to ensure a deep understanding of the product and its features, and to align marketing strategies with product objectives.
- Customer Advocacy: Develop customer success stories and case studies to showcase product impact and build credibility in the market.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 3-5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the technology or software industry
- Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging
- Experience conducting market research, customer insights analysis, and competitive analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and compelling marketing messages
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and optimize marketing campaign performance
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in inside plant and OSP fiber optics connectivity
- Experience in inside wireless and Data Center connectivity
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies or product development processes
- Strong writing skills with experience creating content across multiple channels (e.g., blogs, webinars, white papers)

Salary Information: $71,862 - $89,828 - $107793; bonus eligible
