About the Job
The Product Manager is responsible for business decisions associated with their product lines. The Product Manager will synthesize customer requirements, specify and justify future development projects, determine pricing, drive margin improvement, provide forecast information, and perform life-cycle management.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Accountable for Product Line Revenue and Gross Margin
Translate basic external customer requirements to internal constituents and drive appropriate actions.
Develop and gain approval for product and/or project business cases that support product line growth and the company.
Propose pricing and pricing structure for new products for approval.
Provide product forecasts for planning and operational purposes.
Plan and manage products to customers through multiple channel paths.
Gather teams of Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, and Product Management resources to provide technical customer solutions.
Participate in project initiatives to meet scheduled timelines. Provide periodic status reports.
Perform Lifecycle Management activities within assigned product families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with key accounts, focusing on proactive and timely communication.
Possess basic project management skills, adeptly coordinating tasks, and timeliness to drive successful project outcomes.

Appropriately escalate matters where projects/programs stagnate or barriers are met.
Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills.
Structured, organized, and oriented, able to multitask on several large projects simultaneously.
Independent and self-driven while working in a team environment.
Able to take ownership of product lines and work with Key Account Salespeople to bring a broad market perspective to assist Sales in meeting customer needs.
Ability to identify problems that need resolution, propose solutions, and escalate as needed.
Develop independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload and recommend changes in office practices or procedures.
Expected travel level of 15%.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, business, supply chain, logistics, or related fields.
A minimum of 3-5 years' related experience in manufactured product management, design engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience in forecasting through accurate data analysis and strategic modeling techniques.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
