What you'll do... :
JOB SUMMARY
H&R Block, the world’s leader in tax preparation services, is looking for a Product Manager to join the Global Consumer Tax Product team to support the MyBlock product. In this role you will work with the Product Lead by spearheading the implementation of the MyBlock roadmap in an Agile environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Understand and manage requirements in a complex interdependent digital environment by partnering with other product managers and resources from Architecture, Development, UI/UX, and other stakeholders to coordinate backlogs.
+ Understand the client perspective and advocate for the customer experience.
+ Clearly articulate issues impacting the roadmap; providing recommendations that outline the various options for consideration and documenting pros and cons for each option.
+ Write user stories in alignment with prioritized features at least 2 sprints in advance.
+ Actively work to identify and mitigate risks and impediments impacting successful team completion of the sprint.
+ Understand and utilize data to drive decisions on prioritization and implementation.
+ Lead refinement meetings and participate in all Agile ceremonies working closely with the scrum team through the development process.
+ Lead UAT testing and coordinate with impacted teams
+ Perform research and analysis to provide input to the product roadmap.
+ Partner with Customer Support, Tax Professionals, Clients, Designers, Development teams and other product teams to help create a personalized user experience.
+ Ability to balance customer wants with viability and feasibility. Understanding and communicating the trade-offs while driving incremental functionality.
+ Ability to understand detailed technical issues to lead and negotiate with other teams to tactically implement functionality.
+ Identify and track key success metrics against product goals.

What you'll bring to the team... :
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
Work Experience:
+ 3-5 years of experience as a product manager using Agile methodology.
+ Experience in web-based/mobile/digital product management.
+ Background in client experience best practices.
+ Track record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines in a cross-functional environment.
+ Strong data acumen and using data to tell a story.
+ Demonstrated decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
+ Effective written and oral presentation and facilitation skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels of leadership and partners to influence a wide range of audiences.
+ Proficiency with: Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps, and Figma
