What you’ll do
- Contribute to the vision, strategy and roadmap for the assigned regulated services and deliver against that strategy
- Develop short and long term priorities, develop business requirement documents for new regulations/changes to regulations, compliance initiatives and/or consumer enhancements, and communicate and build consensus on prioritization within the overall regulated services roadmap
- Own stakeholder management for your initiatives and ensure your stakeholders are aligned to the strategy and kept engaged through the process
- Own and manage issues associated with assigned regulated services; support regulatory requests and audit reviews associated with assigned regulated services
- Build effective cross-functional relationships with technology, compliance, legal, finance, and operations to drive execution and overall regulated service success
- Be highly autonomous with a focus on bias to action
- Work with design team, content writers, and legal and compliance to assist in the development and maintenance of proper compliance documentation
- Additional tasks as needed
What experience you need
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent job experience
- 2 years experience in product management
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to author the documentation of current and future state processes and how they connect to and support regulations and policies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and nimble environment, which can pivot very quickly to reflect the changing needs of the company or industry
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; ability to seamlessly communicate across a wide range of stakeholders
- Passion and curiosity to seek a deep understanding of end-user problems as well as competitive and market trends in a regulated industry
What could set you apart
- Experience working with regulatory compliance and internal audit programs for public technology companies
- Experience working with government agencies and/or consumer financial protection laws (e.g., FCRA, UDAAP)
- Ability to learn and efficiently use various software packages such as: G-suite, JIRA, Adobe, Clarizen, Salesforce, Aha!
