About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic Product Manager to join our growing team, reporting into a senior Product leader on our team. You will identify, scope, and lead strategic initiatives that will drive the growth of NewRetirement’s financial planning platform and deliver for our enterprise clients. Our platform encompasses direct-to-consumer financial management tools, a white-label enterprise financial planning platform, financial mini-tools, and our best-in-class financial projection API that enables a variety of customized experiences. You will develop deep focus across our product suite. Working with a cross-functional team (Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Services), you’ll deliver research, analysis, and requirements documentation while facilitating group discussions, managing engineering scope, QAing when needed, and taking ownership of your projects.

What you will do:
- Manage the product life cycle from discovery and ideation through final execution
- Work across multiple, cross-functional teams from both internal and external organizations to implement high-value D2C & B2B projects
- Translate business goals into bodies of work (e.g., user stories) in collaboration with small, agile teams (product, engineering, design)
- Manage and groom backlog(s) supporting platform capabilities tied to company objectives and roadmap
- Conduct competitive analysis and customer research
- Design and track key product metrics, to deliver impactful customer insights and product recommendations
- Monitor adoption, usage, and LTV impact of both new and existing products and features
- Communicate product updates, results, and day-to-day minutiae across the organization (and when necessary, externally as well)
- Contribute to the identification of market opportunities, business cases, and product strategy
What you bring:
- 3+ years experience in product management or closely-related role at a tech company (preferably SaaS or fintech), financial services (investment or retail banking), management consulting, or similarly rigorous work environment
- Demonstrated success with shipping and iterating on software products with cross-functional teams
- High level of inquisitiveness, initiative and critical thinking
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management, including external clients
- Systematic, quantitative approach to problem solving and strong attention to detail
- Bachelor's Degree required (preferably in a STEM field)

This is a fully remote position.
This position offers a competitive salary between $85,000 and $150,000 annually dependent upon experience and qualifications. Salary may vary by location based on factors including cost of living.
