Job Title: Product Manager

Description:
This role will be the leader for one or more focus teams within Analytics Product which requires managing the iterative nature of building data reporting tools and data set development and managing their product lifecycle which is related to, but different, than a normal application or software development lifecycle. It also requires flexibility to perform project and product management responsibilities to leverage resources and fill key gaps on the team, preparing reviews for the leadership team and steering committee, managing consumer expectations regarding the delivery and progress of the projects while ensuring timely delivery with an emphasis and interest in continued learning opportunities as Hilton's commercial analytics capabilities evolve.
More specifically, you will:
• Partner with analytics, business, data, and external partners to articulate the Marketing and Loyalty data transformation's vision and communicate timelines, opportunities, and hurdles.
• Lead Marketing & Loyalty project and product management activities for development lifecycles, including product definition, roadmap, scope, and budget for multiple focus teams.
• Provide inputs to value measurement processes, capturing multiple data product's wins/impact, and building contents to socialize.
• Act as Data SME to provide input, clarity or requirements
• Partner with multiple business areas across Digital, Loyalty, MarTech and Marketing to leverage data to understand business problems and identify tools and datasets necessary for delivery.
• Review and prioritize data enhancement requests and ongoing development activities.
• Tracks and reports progress, defines the products of the project, and ensures transparency of delivery timelines. Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies potential risks, and devises contingency plans.
• Maintains communications for governing bodies and interested parties. Communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Apply analytical skills to examine data, ideas, identify assumptions and obtain detailed information to support the planning of Marketing & Loyalty solutions and technology products
• Provide critical thinking to incorporate emerging trends and innovative technologies in your recommendations that support the enhancement and improvement of the customer experience
• Partner closely with CRM on Master Data Management workstream, standing up a true Customer Data Platform to serve as the source of truth and foundational identity resolution for MarTech systems
• Form a good understanding of and opinion about competitor capabilities and strategies specific to the dynamic content space
• Partner on implementation of new Data capabilities, and coordinate integrations into existing Marketing & Loyalty tools for delivery and handoff to Operational teams

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
• Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Four (4) years of professional experience in driving timeline and delivery performance in engineering, analytics, or technical projects
• Four (4) years of experience creating and analyzing management reports
• Three (3) years of project and/or product management experience including requirement gathering and roadmapping, assessing and mitigating a quality issue.
• Two (2) years working with data representation, storytelling, analyses, and modeling
• Effective risk management and root cause analysis skills.
• Familiarity with BI tools (including MicroStrategy, Tableau, etc.)
• Familiarity with project management tools (including jira, smartsheets, etc.)
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
• Five (5) years of professional experience
• MBA/Masters in analytically-oriented field preferred
• Experience working in data and analytics as a project manager and/or product owner
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills
• Direct collaboration with data developers, cloud technology delivery teams, and business customers
• Experience working in the hospitality or travel industry is nice to have
