OVERVIEW:
The main function of a Product Manager is to maximize sales, revenue, market share and profit margins by leading a team to deliver an end product. The typical product manager guides the delivery of a product through its life cycle. The Product Manager will help the product management team to analyze, document various research tasks and track product requirements. This role demands creative approaches to organize and complete tasks, and you will work with the analytics team, partnership team, engineering, user research and external resources.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with other company departments to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
- Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
- Author user stories, acceptance criteria and execute a portion of the testing on projects.
- Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
- Ensure product quality expectations are defined and known across the team.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a computer science, engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- MUST be bilingual in Korean/English.
- 1-3 years of product/project management, ideally including at least 1 year related to consumer-facing app stores or marketplaces.
- Experience with prototyping, user research, consumer rewards programs, or paid user acquisition.
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability and passion to use hard data and metrics to back up product decisions.
- The ability to manage chaos, ambiguity, and complexity in a detailed, organized way.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills must be able to influence others.
- Self-Starter with an insatiable will to get stuff done.
