We are the Azure Portal and Mobile App organization, which is part of Azure Core in Cloud + AI. Our team is responsible for delivering the Azure Portal experiences for a number of Azure IaaS services. We are currently looking for an energetic, talented, and technical **Product Manager II** to help us define and deliver user experiences for core compute services in Azure Portal. **Responsibilities**
+ Run experiments and test hypotheses broadly with Azure customers to determine what pain points need to be addressed, and to influence the user experience (UX) design and product direction.
+ Drive requirements to the Azure backend teams who own the APIs so that we can build the best end-to-end experience in the Azure Portal.
+ Define Portal user experiences and work with customers and across multiple disciplines (software development, partner backend teams, design, research, support, documentation) to deliver them.
+ Ensure user experiences meet the team's Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and delight our customers.
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years of technical product management experience in a product team shipping software or services, focusing on front-end software or services. This is a product manager role focused on user experience which requires proficiency in this area to be successful.
+ 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
**Other Requirements:**
+ Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
**Additional / Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Previous technical expertise in product development, cloud management, or on-premises IT environments.
+ Deep Cloud experience and an understanding of how enterprises use Azure IaaS services.
+ Experience managing projects using Agile/Scrum methodology.
Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
